LIBRARY
Grade 6 student helpers coordinate with Ms. Lake to provide support in the library with a variety of tasks. It is a fun way to get involved and a great leadership opportunity.
CHOIR 2024
The Lakeland Ridge Choir is for students in Grades 2 to 6. This extra-curricular club will meet Mrs. Rice every Day 6 in the music room from April 12 until May 30, 2024. Students will eat in the music room together and then sing during the lunch recess. The students will learn a variety of songs and vocal warm-ups.

GRADE 1-4 ART CLUB
We are meeting to learn and make different art projects.
We meet on Day 4 for the lunch hour in room 231(upstairs)
Currently, Grade 1& 2’s and Grade 3 & 4’s come on alternating Day 4’s. Starting on March 14.
MATH
Math help is available on days 3, 5 and 6 in room 231 at lunch recess. Students can get help with current or previous concepts or have a quiet place to work on practice questions and formatives. This is open for Moravec’s Math 7,8 and 9.
Math help and corrections are available on days 1 and 5 in room 224 at lunch recess. Students can get help with current or previous concepts, complete exam corrections, or have a quiet place to work on practice questions. Should students require more time they can then arrange to come by after school. This is open for Kugler’s Math 7 and 9.
Mrs. Chapman's Gr 8 students can receive Math help on Days 2, 4, 5, & 6 during the morning break.

JUNIOR HIGH BOOK CLUB
Students in Grades 7-9 read and discuss a common novel to promote a love of literature in a positive environment.
JUNIOR HIGH INTRAMURALS
Students in Grades 7-9 can participate in intramurals over the lunch hour in the Kona gym. Information on how to sign up for the various activities is shared with students in the morning announcements.
Textile Arts
The Sewing lab is open on Days 3 and 6 over the lunch hour. Students can catch up on their sewing or design studies classroom projects. Mrs. McKay is also available to assist her Science 7 students during this time.
GRADE 5/6 CARD CLUB
We are meeting to learn and play different Trading Card Games (TCG’s) including Disney Lorcana and Magic the Gathering.
We meet on various Day 1 and 3 for the lunch hour in room 146 (portables)
Currently only for Grade 5 and 6 students.
SOGI
SOGI runs informally throughout the year. Listen to the morning announcements to find out the locations and dates. This is open to any student K-9. This is a safe and welcoming place where students can engage with peers in conversations, activities, and games.
